Hi, I just had a question on the AE lock on my S2. I have assigned the AE lock to the shortcut button. In Program Mode. Can I take more than one shot with the same settings ? Or do I have to go into Manual mode and adjust the settings to the same as they were in Program Mode ?

The reason I ask has to do with taking panoramic shots. I
want the same exposure in several shots, but I don't necesarily want to use Stitch Assist. I hope this makes sense.

Best regards,

Hi Ryan and welcome to the Q&A Board!

Contrary to what it says in the instructions on page 103 in the manual, in my experience, the AE lock is cancelled after pressing the shutter button, so yes, you will have to lock exposure after each shot. You can always use manual mode for exposure.
