List Price:       $379.99
Item Code:       SG915101

Brands:       SIGMA
Model       28-80/70-300mm
Categories:       Sigma For Canon
Description

This lens kit consists of two DC lenses, a wide-angle zoom lens and a telephoto zoom lens. DC lenses are exclusively designed for digital SLR cameras. The image circle (rear of lens) is made to match the smaller dimensions used for the image sensor on digital cameras. As a result these lenses are also more compact and lightweight, and are better matched to digital SLR cameras.

what do you guys think, im a new 350d owner.

Hi Wayne and welcome.

First let me say that I do have a Sigma 28-70 HF, quite inexpensive and it provides good results. As for the two lenses you've mentioned I'm not familiar with the DC suffix so I would recommend doing a bit of searching for reviews on the internet. Sigma (as does everyone) makes several levels of lenses and you need to be careful of what you're buying.
Check out this site for starters but make sure you're looking at the right lens. Wink The site has links to reviews for most of the lenses.
Last but not least remember, you get what you pay for, without research it may turn out to be something you don't want.
