Hi, just bought a Canon Ixus 700..absolutely chuffed with it.
Then comes the time to attempt connecting it to my PC using the USB lead provided. I followed the step-by-step - installed required software, restarted, connected device, switch to Playback mode. Once these steps are completed, I am greeted by a Windows dialog bubble informing me 'USB Device Not Recognised'.
Now whenever I attempt to retrieve photos from my Ixus, it says that there's no camera connected. I beg to differ!
Any help you can offer a poor, innocent, defenceless newbie like myself?
Thanks in advance.  Sad

Hi Muscolino and welcome to the Q&A Board!

What Operating System do you use?

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled the software? Give it a try if you haven't, but it's important that you do NOT plug the usb cable until after the software is installed; maybe even after reboot.
