FUJI FINEPIX E550

Ok before i pull my hair out lol I really need someone's help. I bought the Fuji finepix e550 about a month ago and still cant figure out why the pictures come out the way they do. Ok so here goes.......In daylight the pictures either come out bright white or have black or white horizontal lines in them, kinda looks like fingerprints lines (black or white) in the images. Yes im sure they are not my fingerprints, i cleaned the lens. Also during indoors pictures they come out ok but some do have those lines still there. I have searched all over and found one person who replaces theirs but I am not quite sure mine is defective. Please help me!!!!!

Hi Supersport25 and welcome to the Q&A Board!
When I got my very first digital camera, I sometimes got either entirely black images or banded ones (when attempting to view on the LCD). I realized I was inadvertently turning off the camera BEFORE it had a chance to finish writing the shots to the card. Any chance you may be doing the same?
Other possibility: If you can view the images accurately on the camera's LCD but not when viewed on your computer, then you may have to uninstall/reinstall your viewing software making sure you have a good cable connection when your camera or card reader are attached. Be sure to follow the connection sequence given in your manual.
