Does anybody know what the Kodak error code #45 means that my brand new Kodak DX7590 camera is reporting?

Read the manual (unusual for me), charged the battery, installed the battery properly, turn the camera on, lens extended, pressed the menu button, setup appeared, set date and time, and immediately after selecting DONE the camera turned itself off, but the lens didn't retract.

Pressed the on/off button again, software flash screen appeared, green blinking light, grinding noise internal to camera, lens still extended, then turns off.

Ok, anybody have any ideeees? Would appreciate comments.

Hi, I checked the Kodak DX7590 FAQ and your error message (error code #45) was listed. Unfortunately, it says "This error message displays when your camera requires service or repair. " (see http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/knowledgebase/dx7590-faqs.jhtml?locsvcsEntryPath=3061). Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
