Sure, Quebec gets one of the worst winters around... not that I'm complaining. But we also get the most beautiful Fall colous available. This year's been a real inferno of reds, yellows and oranges. Here's for your viewing pleasure. The first ones were shot while hiking up mount Ste-Anne, 45 minutes from Quebc city, the others in a park near home in the suburbs.

C&C welcomed!

Wow! What stunning colors. I find the first one in the series very interesting...not only the composition, but the twisting road. Am I correct that it's an unpaved road?

You get the worst winters...and not complaining?! Kind of difficult to comprehend for someone living in South Florida.  Grin

Gail, your southern roots show. Every northener who saw the first picture correctly identified it as a ski trail without snow Wink It is unpaved, allright Tongue

If you were refering to the small strip at the bottom left, that's actually a section of the St-Lawrence river.

The Fall colours are one of the perks of living in a region where there are, actually, four seasons.

I'll never complain about winter! As long as it does end one day, I love the season. So much sports to do, so many beautiful landscapes, and Christmas without snow just doesn't make sense... The time I like less is Fall after the colours have gone, before the snow comes.
