Actually, that critter enjoyed so much being my model that it didn't
move for a couple of minutes... Then it simply took of.
Shot with the S2, f2,7, Supermacro mode. Cropped to get a better framing.

That's a beautiful shot Bernard. I think think the color is exquisite.
For the record though that "critter" is a hover fly.
No stinger there.

I've just realized that, yes. Thanks for pointing it out. The patterns on its back should have told me it's no bee.
