Summer does deliver good opportunities for nice colors captures.

All of these taken with the S2, sometimes with a polarizer. All macros shot at 72 mm if I remember corectly (the bokeh, such as it is, is much nicer this way). Some color balance and sharpening applied when needed, as well as some cropping.

By the way, the fly on the echinacea probably wants to be a model, it stayed there, walking slowly in front of my lens, for almost a minute.

Comments welcome as always, I'm sure these can be improved!

Beautiful shots! The one of the wood fence is particularly enchanting. Nice work!!

The fly on the echinacea is my favorite! I love the detail! Excellent use of selective depth-of-field as you captured its charm.  Smiley
