Another pictures post... A few pictures from last week-end's camping-hiking trip to the Portneuf reserve not far from Quebec city. The main perk of this reserve is that most trails end up at the top of cliffs, with stunning panoramas. Sadly the weather wasn't particularly fine the first day we were there, but on the second, I was glad to have brought my polarizer. All flowing water shots were handheld (thank you Image stabilization!, sometimes bracing against a tree or fence, but not always. For these shots I needed to use both my polarizer and Neutral Density filter in order to bring down the light level. It would have been even easier if I had had two polarizers...

Comments always welcome!

You got some wonderful shots. The sepia one of the bridge is particularly stunning.

I'm curious. Did you shoot in sepia or convert it when editing?

Image 8369 (the stony cliff over the lake) is stunning.  Very nice!

Gail,

I shot in colors, then converted to sepia, augmented contrast, and that's it. I had a sepia output in mind all along, but I always prefer to shoot in colors and convert the image afterwards.
