Well let me see ......  Wink

I'm guessing it's the eye of the very scary, bird predecesor ... the one and only dinosaur called veloceraptor! Am I correct?  Grin Do I win a box of low-fat Cheeze-itz (my favorite snack cracker)?

Hum, not a cat (or like animal), I'd say maybe some kind of bird?

They may be related in a distant sort of way Deb but the tails a little shorter and the wings are considerably bigger.  Cheesy Definitely prehistoric looking though....

OK Bernard I'll pull back just a bit and see if it helps someone identify that "bird"... Roll Eyes

I think I got it... A heron, maybe?

I must say, based on the first picture, I thought it was looking in the other direction. Maybe it is, though, but the "face" (such as it is) looks like it points to the right.

Yes, but its nowhere near as long as its legs. Tongue Grin

Lacking some specificity but yes, it is a (Great Blue) Heron. You'll have to share the Cheeze-itz with Deb though, for your lack of certainty... Cheesy Wink

Hey, that's a neat shot! Was the bird grooming it's wing? I see little bits of down on the tip of her/his beak.
