I am presently the owner of a Minolta A1 digital camera and wish to know if someone can recommend some custom settings to me so I can experiment with my camera in a more creative way.

Regards
Bobby

Hi Bobby and welcome to the Q&A Board!

Let's see, alot depends on how familiar you already are with photographic techniques. Generally speaking I'd suggest playing with aperture- or shutter-priority modes. This way you can experiment with depth-of-field variations to achieve different looks. You can also experiment with different shutterspeeds to creatively use action (for blur while zooming, etc.). You can also do these things in manual mode but you'll need a good understanding of exposure metering first. Familiarity with your camera and its features is a must. Once you know what your camera can do, you can play around and achieve looks that you're happy with. Have fun experimenting!  Smiley
