good afternoon

I have been told that i need an adapter, to view my xd cards images on the LCD screen, as it doe's not take them directly. on the (canon selphy cp740) which i have ordered    Cry

Would a XD to smart media adapter fit into the slot on the printer.
most smart media adapters i have seen say you can only put xd cards in with a capacity off 128mbs, but i have a 1gb and a 512mb

Would this also work, i have got xd card reader that i can insert my card into the side of it, would this be able to plug into the back of the printer if it has a usb port, and then could i view my pictures on the led screen..

I am even more confused, because the adapter's say "standard" xd cards, but i have a "type m"   Cry

Without printing directly from the camera, which would cause you to loose some of the options what would be my best option, so i can view them on the led screen

Hello icarly!

I confess, your question has us stumped. May I suggest that you post your question in the Media and Storage forum at dpreview? My bet is that you'll get the answer you need.

Also consider contacting tech support for your brand card reader.
