good afternoon

I have been told that i need an adapter, to view my xd cards images on the LCD screen, as it doe's not take them directly. on the (canon selphy cp740) which i have ordered    

Would a XD to smart media adapter fit into the slot on the printer.
most smart media adapters i have seen say you can only put xd cards in with a capacity off 128mbs, but i have a 1gb and a 512mb  

Would this also work, i have got xd card reader that i can insert my card into the side of it, would this be able to plug into the back of the printer if it has a usb port, and then could i view my pictures on the led screen..  

I am even more confused, because the adapter's say "standard" xd cards, but i have a "type m"  

Without printing directly from the camera, which would cause you to loose some of the options what would be my best option, so i can view them on the led screen
