Hi there all

For some time now I have been saving up to buy myself a decent DSLR and have come down to two picks, Cannon 400D and Nikon 60D. Before I buy either, I would like to know are lighting kits compatible with any SLR or do specific makes go with specific kits? Im a bit confused about that.

And welcome to the Q&A Forum!

To my knowledge, studio lighting kits are compatible with any SLR, but do check before buying.  

Neither I nor any of our forum moderators use studio lighting that I'm aware, so I recommend you ask further questions a the Lighting and Studio techniques form at the Fred Miranda site:
