 Cry

I decided to bite the bullet and format the memory card (and risk loosing all my photos) as I couldnt access them anyway.

My plan was to format the card and then use recovery software to find the deleted/formatted photos.

Problem: I continued and pressed Format and was shown an error message saying: FILESYS ERROR 1a00.

I have never seen this message before and have no idea what it means.  Now I still cannot view my photos but I can't format my memory card either.

PLEASE, please help Sad

It sounds like this problem may be a camera firmware, etc. issue. I would suggest contacting your camera manufacturer's support center. Be sure to include the model of the camera and the error message. Did you mention that your camera is a Kodak? If so, here's their support url: http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=2/3/10&pq-locale=en_US&_requestid=10033

I hope this helps and that you can retrieve your images.
