I was browsing the internet today and stumbled upon an ad for Saini lens for $45 U.S..  I was looking to purchase a fisheye lens. COuld anyone tell me what kind of quality i could expect from this type of lens?

I also noticed that the adapter for the lens is only 52mm instead of the 58mm lens adaptor.  would this adaptor and lens combo cause vignetting (sp??)?

thanks in advance!

Hi RONiN,

Welcome to the Q&A Board!

I'm personally unfamiliar with the Saini lens, and I'm not sure many of our forum participants will be either. I'd like to recommend that you post this question in the Canon Talk Forum at dpreview as someone there will no doubt be familiar with the lens and answer your questions:

Sure sounds like a good price.

Hi there, Saini (as in "Saini Digital Photo") is the name of the e-store. Do you happen to know who makes the lens?
