I just bought a Fuji S9000.I thought this 9 MP camera was a new product from Fuji.Does anyone here have one.My dilema is that I cannot find an external flash for it.Can someone please help me?I was told from Fuji to buy a Vivitar 285.But Vivitar told me they don't make flash units anymore so that flash can't be new.So what can I use?? I appreciate all the help you can give me.Thank you.  teleman3@verizon.net

Hi and welcome!

I'm surprised that Vivitar claim they will stop making flashes, they are quite popular at the entry-level. Might be true, but it would be a surprise for me.

Your best bet would be to go to a photography shop that carries the Fuji and ask them. You're probably not the first one wanting a flash for that camera. You could also head to www.dpreview.com and visit the Fuji forum. You're sure to find someone owning your camera there, and if you search through the forums, you will probably find your answer already. I would love to give you more help, but I'm not familiar with that camera, except on paper.

Good luck, and tell us what you find!
