I tried to contact vivitar for a filter for my vivitar vivicam #3665. I got no ware so I assume the make no adapter for this camera. I heard about slipover filters for cameras I want to get one but do not know how to figure the size that I need. Any suggestions would help.

From what I understand (Lee brand) you measure the outside of the lens barrel. The slip-over mount needs to fit over the barrel. For instance a 95mm thread size lens may measure 100mm on the outside.
