I have two 20+ year old minolta SLR film cameras and several MD and MC series lenses that work with them.  I have been looking at the digital SLRs that Konica Minolta make, but am discovering that they only accept AF-series lenses.  Is there any type of adaptor out there that will allow my older lenses to connect with the AF-series bodies on the digital SLRs?

Hi geogalgreen and welcome to the board!

I am not really familiar with Minolta mounts, but there is one thing you ought to know. Konica-Minolta have stopped their production of cameras, film or digital, P&S or SLR. They have sold their photography expertise to Sony, so you should expect Sony to offer digital SLR cameras in the (relatively) near future. Sony also offer the support for Konica-Minolta products.

What this means is that even though your lens don't seem to fit on KM DSLR for now, maybe Sony will offer a camera that will fit with your lenses. You can get a pretty good used camera still, and maybe some stores still stock the KM cameras, so it might be worth your while to keep looking for an adaptor. Your local pro photography shop should be able to direct you to this, it's in their advantage to sell you a camera if they can...

Good luck!
