pictbridge compliant

I have a Nikon coolpix 2500..the usb cable fits into my HP printer pictbridge inpiut but says it is not an acceptable device. How do I know if my camera is pictbridge compliant.

Hi Leslie and welcome to the Q&A Board. I've checked out a few of the online review sites as well as the Nikon knowledgebase and as far as I can tell your camera is not pictbridge compatible. All references for image transfer are to your PC (or MAC) with the Nikon image software installed.
