I wanting to make my own home studio and I have a canon digital rebel xt.  What would be the better light source to use? This studio will be in my garage which is lit with fluorescent lights.  This lighting system will also be used outside the home as well.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Digicamhelp is primarily geared to providing novice to intermediate level information and education about compact and advanced digital cameras. Unfortuantely, we don't offer help about studio lighting, though someone may eventually come along with a few suggestions for you.

One of the best places to inquire about studio lighting is in the Lighting forum at dpreview:

Post your question there and you'll receive prompt, often expert, advice. Sorry we can't be of more help on this particular subject.
