I have a question about my kodak 7630 digital camera.  I have recently purchased a few filters for it , but when I put the adapter ring, and the step up ring on and then the center spot filter, I have a huge circle in my view and hardly any of the blurring effect that should be around the outer edge.  So my thoughts were to buy spacer rings, so that is what I did (they haven't arrived yet).  My question is....is this the correct thing to do.  Will it move the filter out away from my lense far enough to get more of the blurring effect around my center spot?  Help me, or did I just waste all of my money buying filters for this camera.

Hi TJORDAN and welcome to the Q&A Board!

Do you have the right lens adapter for your camera? It should be if you bought one made specifically for your camera. Here's the one Kodak produces.

I suspect that the more items you add to the front of your lens, the more vingetting will occur. Have you tried zooming in the lens rather than use it at its widest angle? This can eliminate all or some of the vingetting.

I'm not sure you wasted your money on the filters and step up ring but I'm don't think the spacer rings will solve the problem.
