I was bummed to discover my new 4gb iPod in tandem with a new Belkin Media reader will only transfer and store still photos - not  video clips. What's out there (that doesn't cost more than my new Canon SA IS) that will store video clips til I get back to my lap top? Thanks.

Hi diana,

Here's a fairly up-to-date listing of portable storage devices. Hopefully you'll find one there which meets your needs:

Hi there, here's one that I got to play with a couple of weeks ago. What fun! You can find the review at http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/epsonp2000/ . The specs listed say it's compatible with the following movie formats (in addition to the usual still formats):

• AVI (MPEG4 *1, M-JPEG *2)
• MOV (MPEG4 *1, M-JPEG *2)
• MP4 (MEPG4/AAC)
• ASF (MPEG4/ADPCM)
• up to 30fps @ VGA

Just saw this featured in "Outdoor Photographer". It's called the SmartDisk FlashTrax XT. Its got a 3.6 inch LCD, a 40 or 80gb harddrive, stores images, plays music, videos, etc. FlashTrax XT supports MPEG-4, DivX, WMV9 and XviD video file formats. I don't know anything about it first-hand, but you could check it out.
