hi everyone
I'm looking for a good external fash for my epson 3100z. I am going to be using it for night-time portrait photograpy, with painted scenery! I will not have any external walls to "bonce" off the flash so I'm not sure how I will be able to position it. Can anyone help?   leela

You can probably use a bounce card or diffuser.  Here's some information, each mentioning an inexpensive way to construct these accessories:
