I am having trouble getting my images from camera (Fuji FinePix A340) to my PC.  They are visible on LCD window in camera. I recently erased the card and started over. I am new at this, I might add. The first couple of times I had no problem but now when I try to transfer the images all that appears on my FinePix Viewer on the PC are all the images that I previously downloaded. Help!

Hmmmm, that sounds frustrating.

The first thought that comes to mind is that I'm wondering if you somehow pressed the "protect all images" menu. If you did, images will not be erased.

As you may know, there is a difference between erasing and formatting a memory card. If you choose "Erase all," all images will be deleted from the card except ones which have been protected.

When a card is formatted, all images are deleted whether they are protected or not. If your images are safely transferred to your computer, format your card in your camera. This menu is usually found in the Playback mode.

Check the manual for specific info about how your camera handles this. Let us know if formatting the card works. If not, give us additional information and we'll go from there.
