One of the most interesting cameras to be developed in decades is the Micro Four Thirds System, recently announced by Olympus and Panasonic.

These will be very compact, slim digital single reflex cameras with large sensors. To obtain the compact size, Micro Four Thirds cameras do not have mirrors traditionally found in digital single reflex cameras.
