Hello,

here are a few shots of spring flowers (yes, in Quebec city it's currently "spring"...)

The first two were shot with a dedicated Pentax macro lens. Two flowers with the same perspective:





The last was shot with my new acquisition, the Pentax DA 21 mm Limited. Limiteds are high-quality primes, handcrafted, jewels really. And generally so small they are called pancakes. some say they are the equivalent of Canon L glass, but it's hard to compare, honestly. Here is the picture. It's not a fantastic composition, but I love the 3D effect the lens creates:

Those photos are beautiful!

The Pentax DA 21 mm Limited lens sounds very interesting. Not cheap, though, is it?!

It's far from cheap, but I got a good discount for a slightly used lens. That's a good way to purchase photo gear : if they are well cared for, lenses can last a long time.

I forgot to mention one nice perk of the lens: it's less than one inch thick, all told, meaning it's easily pocketable.
