Purple pictures !!

I took my Kodak digital camera out of my vehicle a couple weeks ago and took a few shots. It was very cold that day (so was the camera) and now all pictures I take are purple. Especially outdoor ones with the sun present. Is the camera poo pood or is the problem fixable? Thanks in advance for your input.

Hi Jim and welcome to the Forum.

Sorry to hear about the camera problem. Unless you inadvertently changed the white balance setting, it sounds like a sensor problem.

Check that your white balance is set to auto and a also try resetting your camera.

If neither improves things, call Kodak tech support. See if there is a service advisory for your model. If so, you may be entitled to a free repair. If not, assess the cost of repair vs getting a new camera.
