hi all. Im new to the forum. What ive seen so far looks good. I have a prob, I apparently disconnected my camera[0lympus sp-560 uz] from my computer without waiting for the [safe to disconnect] notice and now the puter wont recognize camera and am unable to download pics.

Hi nimrod and welcome.

Sorry to hear about your problem.

Use the device manager to check if the driver for the camera is working properly. Even if it is, I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the software that came with the camera.

I don't know what version of windows you're using, but you may be able to do a system restore.

Another option is to get a card reader and try to transfer the cards using it.

If none of these work call Olympus tech support. This is one of those areas where it's sometimes difficult to isolate the problem.
