Wondering what the quality of pictures taken with Lens Converters???Are these converters worth buying,if so,what brand names are recommended???Thanks.

The quality of converter lenses can be quite good, depending on the one you buy, if you use them properly and understand their limitations. You can buy converter lenses online at companies such as Amazon. I also like Lensmate, which explains the pros and cons of each converter and gives sample images:

I concur, some converters cost as much as basic DSLR lenses, and are often quite good.

The 2x DG is placed in the same way and it allows the photographer to use the 70-200mm f/2.8 lens as a 140-400mm f/5.6 telephoto zoom lens, and the 300mm f/2.8 lens as a 600mm f/5.6 ultra telephoto lens
