Digital cameras 101

Hello forum,

Can anyone help me out? I am a newbie looking for a handheld digital camera with the following specs:

+Under $200
+720/30fps video recording
+10MP+ for digital photos
+Microphone input for adding an external mic

Would be nice...
+Fold out LCD Screen

Basically this camera -- but with an input for adding an external mic! Help please:

There are digital cameras with the specifications you are looking for, however I know of none that are under $200.

I suggest you call a place like B&H Photo and Video. If anyone knows of a camera in that price range with those specs, they will. They may even have a refurbished camera, which are less expensive than buying a camera new but are generally "like new."

Hi ShutterbugGail, thank you! Don't let price stop you, I would prefer it be around $200 but am curious to see what is out there and how much it will cost me.
