Ricoh recently announced a new, if not revolutionary, camera system: Ricoh GXR interchangeable lens unit system. It's currently the smallest camera that takes interchangeable lenses, rather lens units that contain sensor, processor and lens.

hmmmmmmmmm   don't know, somehow I am not too satisfied ..... I still feel its better to have a compact if u need a small camera .

These new interchangeable lens would be expensive thats for sure, and if it ends up being value for money only time will tell  Smiley

You're right. Some photographers are pretty enthusiastic about it. Others are predicting it will not get off the ground, only to become a collectors item.

As you said, time will tell.
