I finally posted a gallery of some of my daylily photos.

http://www.rhinoprints.net/photography/gallery.html?4a=1

Those photos were taken this year ... before the deer ate the rest of our buds.  Huh

My wife, Ruby, and I have over 120 different varieties of daylilies in our yard.  My photography interest has helped me to gain more of an interest in flowers, since I love photographing them, and all of God's beautiful creation. Smiley  Now Ruby and I can share our interests together. Smiley

They are absolutely gorgeous; perfectly exposed. What a wonderful hobby you share with your wife! Hope you've printed some and have them hanging on the wall!

Thanks Gail.  Smiley  I praise the Lord for the ability to share that interest with Ruby.

Actually, I just got my first large print (over 8 x 10) from mpix with one of those daylily photos.  I got a 20x30, and it came out fully awesome!!  Smiley

I have framed it and now I need to hang it up.  Tongue

Wow... how beautiful! The post caught my eye because daylilies are some of my favorite flowers. Thanks so much for posting this link.

Warm wishes,

Thank you MiaRose and Kevin.  Smiley

Daylilies are Ruby's and my favorite flowers of all. Smiley

For Christmas, I gave Ruby a book of photos of 86 of our daylilies that I created and got printed by mpix.com.  They did a great job of printing it.

By the way, Kevin - Ruby's maiden name is Conner.  Maybe you are related. Smiley

I had a photobook made by Shutterfly for my daughter for Christmas. Are you familiar with both? Is mpix better?

Hi Rick, I'm guessing that our friend Kevin may be other than what he appears. Wink So far no harm no foul but it smells like spam to me...

Gail, I've tried mypublisher a couple of times and they're not too bad. I will say that the last book I had done did present some problems (issues with the software I think) but the finished product came out pretty good. I think I may go with shutterfly next time around were you happy with the results?

This is the second time I've used Shutterfly and I couldn't be more pleased. The quality is excellent. Plus if you're on their mailing list, they regularly offer some sort of discount, such as free shipping or 50% off a second photobook (the same one).

I have only used Mpix, and not Shutterfly, so I have no basis for comparison. Sorry.  Shutterfly sounds interesting, though.  I may have to check into them.
