The photos are fantastic. My favorite is the second. The colors are unique and beautiful; I particularly like the subtle sun resting on the mountain. One suggestion: I'd do a slight brightness/contrast or levels adjustment to take away some of the "haze" look so common to digital photos.

I played with the image a bit: levels adjustment and unsharp mask:

I had played a bit with levels, contrast, etc, but did not manage to improve the colours without making the sky look unnatural. You did a much better job.

That's strange. Did you try only a levels adjustment, not both? If I recall correctly, I only used levels.
