Photo-edited to create the B&W high contrast effect. I don't recall seeing anything on this site about how to do HC editing but I may not be looking close enough.

Delta 757 in Raleigh:

Wow. What interesting shots. I particularly like the first: better composition; subject view more interesting, etc.

Question: did you shoot the shots that way or tweak in Photoshop?

No, we don't have any articles on High Contrast, but one on HDR (High Dynamic Range) is being written and should be published within two weeks.

Thanks for the comments.  They were shot regular and edited using Paint Shop Pro: switch to B&W and then up the contrast & sharpness. I had help with the first one.  I need to crop the second one because you can actually see the heat blur from the engines go across the buildings.   Cool

My apology. I now note that you mentioned you edited the photos. I'll have to give the technique a try.

Yes, I think the second one would be improved with some editing. Try getting the plane slightly off center and cropped a bit closer.
