I recently discovered Picnik, a free, feature-packed online photo editor. It's not a substitute for a full-fledged photo editing program but for many casual photo editors, it has more tools than you'll ever need. Here's our review:

Flickr has a Picnik option to edit your pictures. Pretty convenient and awesome if you ask me.

Picnik is a great program that integrates with Flickr and other sites such as Facebook. It's helpful if you have a broadband connection, otherwise editing online can be slow.
