Here are five shots of two waterfalls near Quebec city. Nothing really fancy except the beauty of the frozen waterfalls themselves.

The two night shots are of a waterfall named Montmorency. The snow and ice hill at the base of the fall happens every winter, we call it the sugarbread.

The other waterfall is the Chaudière (Bucket). The power lines were unavoidable, sadly. the zoomed picture was shot by using multi-exposures (nine) combined in-camera. I had forgotten my filters to make one long exposure, shame on me!

Wow! What great photos! I particularly like the first. And I thought when we got 8" of snow in GA about a month ago that it was a lot! You live in a winter wonderland!

Well, 8 inches at one time is still a lot. We get that a few times per year. This year we only got a total of 307 cm, less than the 320 average. Last year was the al-time record with 558 cm...

It IS really a paradise for winter sports.

Yes, 8" is a lot. Very unusual for GA. It made national headlines in the U.S.
