March 17, 2009 - Final edition (abridged)

:: From the editor ~ Digicamhelp gets a facelift

We've been working behind the scenes to bring a new look to Digicamhelp. The newly designed site was launched today. It has a cleaner look, improved navigation and better organization. Features include:

:: Blog format - Post questions, make suggestions or add a tip in the Leave a Response area on article pages.

:: RSS & email subscription - Subscribe to us by RSS or get updates by email. Sign up at the top right corner of any page in the site. When new information is posted, you’ll be automatically notified.

Because of these more efficient means of delivering content, the Digicamhelp newsletter will be discontinued.

:: Photo galleries - Our new galleries contain many outstanding photos about composition, lighting and other time-honored photography concepts.

:: Social bookmarking - Find an article helpful? Think others will too?! Just click an icon to place links to articles on your favorite social and other bookmarking sites.

:: Forum redesign - This forum has a new look too, though it functions as before. If you’re already a member, just sign in with your same username and password.

Remember, Digicamhelp has not changed; only its look and the way information is presented and delivered. We expect to be around a long time to continue helping novice and intermediate digital camera users. Hope to continue to see you around too.

Special thanks to Katherine Nolan of Inkk Design for all her hard work designing and developing the new site.

Keep life in Focus,

Gail and the moderating team, Mike, Bernard and Deb
