There a probably dozens, but I only know about PhotoStockPlus:

If you have have your own website, you may want to consider Linklok for Paypal, which I use to sell and deliver my ebooks. They will set it up for you too. It was an absolute pleasure to work with this company.

You may also want to ask around at the Fred Miranda forums, where lots of pros and serious photo enthusiasts hang out:

Sorry.  He had sent me an email to ask about the web design aspect of this question.  I replied here to make sure he got the email.

He had asked how I did the Paypal buttons on my photo site to sell my prints.  I explained to him that I used the webmaster tools available on my paypal account since I designed my own web pages.  I also explained that I use a javascript file to incorporate the same paypal code on each page so I don't have to duplicate it over and over again.  I simply pass the image number, etc. to the javascript to create the button for each specific photo.

The paypal webmaster tools lets you create a button and copy the code to paste into your page.  I merely converted it to javascript and customized it a bit to allow for the above.

I didn't think you all would want to hear all of that. :-P

I hope it helps. :-)

Hi, like Rhinorick, I too use Paypal on my site. Instead of individual buttons for each image, however, I use a form with pull down menu on a separate order page. You can certainly use any technique. It's pretty simple as PayPal writes the general code for you. You can then tweak it as you see fit. I don't know how this works if you don't have your own site however.

Yes it does help. Thanks for the info.

Actually, one of the wonderful things about the net is that you can find questions to answers you never thought anyone else asked. So, yes, we'd like to hear what you had to share as it no doubt will be useful to others.

Cool.  Well, I think I explained it all in my previous post.

By including the buttons on each image page, the visitor/customer can be assured of ordering the image they desire, since they can see it right on the ordering page.  That however, means that you need a button (or buttons for different size prints) on each photo page.  As Deb said above, that is easily done since PayPal gives you the code for each button, which you can then convert to javascript and embed into your web page, as I also explained in my previous post in this thread.

I also told timinator that if he needed any help to let me know.  That goes for any of you as well.  Smiley  I design web pages for a fee, but I am more than willing to give assistance to anyone who is designing their own site.

Further note:

I just learned that Paypal also gives you the option of using a shopping cart with "Add to cart" and "View cart" buttons.   Way cool!!  (I'm sure it has for a while ... I just didn't realize how easy it is)

It is much the same as the "buy now" buttons as far as coding, so it is quite simple to add to a web page.

This way your shoppers can purchase more than one item on the same order.

Way cool!!  Smiley

Side note:  If anyone ever needs any help with getting Paypal buttons to work on your web site, just let me know. Smiley  I'll help where I can. Smiley

I've been using their shopping cart feature for years and it's really easy and streamlined. A very nice feature indeed!  Smiley

A good stock photo site that I have been using for a few months is Fotolia (http://us.fotolia.com/partner/318516). So far, I've made about $50. Not bad, considering I just uploaded old shots I had already taken. They sell small versions (1200x800 pixel,  I think) for $1 each and give you half, but that adds up easily, and its not like you're giving away the full high quality version to anyone for really cheap. Even if your shots aren't great, if you upload enough, eventually someone somewhere will start buying them...
