Hi, can you recommend a web site where I can post pictures for clients to view and pick. Preferably with some security features.

Thanks

I use pbase. It has several different security levels.

http://www.pbase.com/

Starts at $23/year:

Here are some other photo hosting sites. The paid plans usually have the most security options:

I'd like to start showing some of my photos online. What is the easiest site to use for someone like me who is new to digital photography?

Hannah, if you plan on selling photos, then follow the advice above.

On the other had, if you only plan on sharing your pictures, there are numerous options. Some, like PBase, FlickR, and others, charge an annual fee and give you many configuration options, more flexibility, etc. Other, like Google's Picassa, Photobucket, and others are free (often offering a paying version with more features), and give you limited possibilities, but they work well for basic hosting and sharing. Quite often the free hosting sites offer you priting capabilities, so they can make some money when you order prints.

As you see, there are many options, and the best one will depend on your exact needs.

If you're new and have not done a lot of photo editing, you may want to try Picasa. It's a free photo editing and organizing program and very easy to use. You can upload images right to Picasa Web Albums. The web albums are very basic but, again, very easy to use.

You can read about both of them here:
