Does anyone know of a website where you can upload new photos to yours and friend's albums?  I want a site where we can share photos to the same album.
Thanks

Hi!

Any website that hosts photos will do the trick. All you have to do is share the username and password for your gallery, and everyone will be able to post.

There are many sites out there. Some, such as PBase, Flickr, Fotki, etc. chrge you an annual fee, but give you more memory space to host pictures, more tools and features, etc. Some, like Kodak's site, give you free space as long as you order a print per year. Some others, like Photobucket, offer free hosting with limited services. You can usually upgrade a free hosting sit to a "premium" service for a fee. Some of the paying sites also offer a free version, again with limited features.

My list is by no means exhaustive, and I wouldn't want to advertize one over the other. In general, you get what you pay for. Search around and you'll find the site that fits your needs.

Just to clarify, Flickr offers free photo hosting but you can only create three albums.

As already mentioned, the free hosting services are limited and usually contain advertising. But for many, they are just fine.

All hosting services give you a free trial period so you may want to get a few a try.

I happen to use three services: pbase (a paid service) and both Flickr and Picasa Web Albums. Web Albums integrate with Picasa photo organizing and editing software, which I happen to think is terrific and you certainly can't beat the price (free).

Here's a list of some photo hosting websites; it is not by any means exhaustive but it will give you an idea of what's available:
