I have a personal issue where some pictures were taken with my camera and then erased. Pictures were then taken again with the same camera and same memory card.

These pictures that were overwritten are very important to me for a very important reason. Mainly regarding divorce proceedings.

I would like to know is there any software I can use to restore the overwritten photos?

Is there any software that will let me set up my memory card to automatically backup all photos taken to a hidden directory?

I am not trying to be sneaky...well I am...but it's for good reason.

I've tried most of the stuff I can find on the net that is shareware...and some stuff you need to pay for.

Thank You!!

You may still be able to recover your images if they have not yet been overwritten. Here' some information about the process, which you seem to indicate you're familiar with. If you're tried some of the free programs without success, try a paid one. They often recover files the free software cannot, such as video files. Here's more information:

I'm unaware of any program that works in the manner you describe.
