A frequently asked question is how to recover lost photos from a memory card. If you've lost images, try photo rescue software. Here is an article about the process and what to expect:

http://www.digicamhelp.com/digital-photo-recovery-and-rescue/index.htm

Many at this board have said that the free recovery utility, Art Plus Digital Photo Recovery, works well. A link to it, and other digital photography utilities, is listed here:

http://www.digicamhelp.com/free-digital-camera-software/index.htm

These types of programs can be quite effective, though they don't always recover every image and some recovered images may be damaged. But it is well worth a try to recover your photos, even if you've formatted your card.

If a recovery program doesn't work for you, consider contacting the manufacturer of your memory card. They can often recover the images but be sure to ask the cost becaue it can be expensive.

If your card is corrupted, many have found
Art Plus Memory Card Safe Eraser very effective too.

Hi there,

Thank you guys for the link this is like magic when I saw the photos that I deleted yesterday from my card only to find today that they were not on my computer as I thought they were.

Anyway... I have downloaded the free trial version but it is asking for a code(which I don't have) to be able to go to the next step... Does anyone have this code? if not where can I get it from.

Many thanx.

Kep up the great job you are doing guys... youz are life savers

Cheers

I'm not sure what code you're talking about but it's usually something the manufacturerr sends to you after you make a purchase. Some will send you a code number even for free software.

Are you sure you're trying a free version? ArtPlus has a free version here that I don't think requires a code:

HI there,

Thank you very much for getting back to me.

I have tried the first link and that s where there was a box for the code to be entered.

So I came back here and clicked on the second link and downloaded the program... and I was successful to recover the photos I wanted. It worked magic. saved them too  Wink

Thank you very very much for all your help.

Cheers
