Digital images Striped

My daughter has a fuji fine pic. She dropped it, and now it 90% of the time takes striped pics. But every noe and then the pics are fine. The video mode records fine to.
Do you have any suggestions

Hi Rebecca,

Welcome to the Q&A Board.

Something in the camera may have been damaged, but before you make a call to tech support, try:

1- take out the batteries and insert ones which are fully charged

2- reset the camera according to the instructions in the manual

2- format (rather than erase) the memory card

The lines look like those that can be fixed by formatting a memory card. But if none of these work, contact FijiFilm tech support. Fixing a digital camera can be expensive, so ask about all the charges involved. Some repairs cost almost as much as a new digital camera.
