This year I'm going to be taking our soccer player and team photos as the coach said I could do just as good a job if not better than the person she hired last year. I'm excited but I have a question for you all.

Should I print these at home (Lexmark Z11 printer) where I can get decent quality if I have the expensive photo paper, or upload the pictures to someplace like Snapfish and have them print them, or take my memory card somewhere like CVS and print them there?

I'll probably only be charging $10-15 for a set (I was thinking 2 4x6 indiv., 1 5x7 team, and probably one 4x6 team "silly" pose).

I'm also offering them a DVD with all the practice and game photos taken throughout the season, including the "official" photos, plus some short videos. This will be for an additional charge of course. Last year I gave them out for free but they all (or almost all) said I should have charged them for it.

Congrats on the paid job. Wink

As to your question I would probably have them printed by a third party unless I had an absolutely top quality printer and supplies. Third party printers like snapfish, winkflash and others usually have guarentees of print quality up to 50 years if not more, I'm not confident that the same can be promised of the typical home printer.

Thanks Mike. That's what I was leaning towards.
