Working with digital images

I am taking photos with a Kodak 5 MegPix camera set on 1.3 Meg Pix.  I must resize the photo to fit in a web-based real estate listing.

When I get to the size that fits best, the horizontal lines are zig- zag and shingles are dramatitized making the photo of the house very ugly.

Basic photoshop is used to resize.

How do I resolve?

Hi Don and welcome to the Q&A Board. Resizing can be tricky sometimes, especially if the resize is extreme. Review the posting here it seems to be very similar to yours. Feel free to email me a copy of the image and I'll give it a go.

Can you tell us how you're resizing the image and what editing program you are using.
