Hi jonny,

Welcome to the Q&A Board!

How a digital camera records color is affected by the source of light. A red, or orange cast, in an image is very common when taking photos in artificial light. To prevent this, many digital cameras have white balance settings which should be set according to the main souce of lighting in a room. I looked at the specs for you camera but couldn't find if it has a way you can adjust white balance. If it does, experiment with it under different lighting conditions and see what an improvement adjusting white balance can make.

Here's some information about white balance:

As to the image which are reddish, adjust their color using your image editing software. Most programs have a tool or menu to adjust the color balance of an image to remove unwanted color casts.

If you have futher questions let us know.
