Hi,
I recently purchased an Olympus C760UZ (which I was told was not marketed in the US but is here in Australia)
The camera comes with Camedia Master 4.2.

I also have a Kodak CX6330.  When I asked an Olympus rep about having Kodak EasyShare Software on my computer, I was told that I needed to remove it as it would cause problems with the Olympus software.

I would still like to use my Kodak.   Has anyone had experience with having both these kinds of software on their computer at the same time?
Are there any other options for me ?

Because my OS is Windows 98SE I needed to download a driver during the Camedia Master installation process.  This was not the case for new OS's

Thanks for any help.

Hi cjgriff,

Welcome to Digicamhelp!

If I were you, I think I'd contact Kodak too and see what they also have to say.

I own three digital cameras and have installed the program for each on my computer. Two programs work perfectly. One sometimes freezes and shuts down but I haven't had time to call tech support to determine the cause. I use Windows XP.

If it's confirmed that the two programs will conflic, use the camera software you most prefer, get a multi-card memory card reader and use it to transfer images to your computer.

Thanks Gail  Smiley
I'll check with Kodak and see what they have to say.
The memory card reader is a thought.  Between the two options I should be able to work it out.

Thanks again.

I wanted to mention that there is a great, free program called Picasa2, which you can use to download images from your camera or card reader. It's also a photo organizer and has some basic but very good image editing capabilities.

You can find out more about it here:
