Working with digital images

I have no idea what happened but when I tried to transfer my photos from the memory card to the computer, there was nothing there. Are my photos gone forever? I hope not!!!! Is there anything I can do to get them back?

Ooops, so sorry to hear this! But there is hope.

In all likelihood you will be able to recover some or all of the lost images with digital photo and recovery software. There are many such programs available which recover data from memory cards such as CompactFlash, SmartMedia, Memory Stick, MultiMediaCard, Secure Digital card and IBM Microdrive.

Thank you so very much for the helpful advice. I used PhotoRescue and got all my pictures back. Very happy about this!
