I have a new casio exilim z100. It's a great camera, taken some fantastic sunset and landscape photos. However, when I take a self portrait, or close up portrait of other people the skin tone appears really over red and blotchy, and teeth become a very harsh yellow. Can anybody help me with this? I have tried changing every setting on the camera....ISO, white balance, flash intensity, saturation etc and am not sure whether I am doing something wrong or whether it is just the colours that the casio cameras produce.

Thanks  Smiley

Hello Aderzol1 and welcome to the Q&A Forum!

It sure sounds like you've done everything correctly to change the white balance, which seems to be at the route of the problem. Have you tried resetting your camera either by selecting the reset menu or taking the batteries out of the camera for several minutes?

If the camera has the feature, try a manual white balance setting.

If none of these help, I'd highly recommend you call Casio tech support to make sure you don't have a fault sensor.
