Hello, my problem is that my lens is stuck out, heres how it happened:
I was transferring some pictures from my camera to my computer, after I was done I accidentally left the camera on, causing the batteries to become exhausted while the lens was out, so now my camera is off with its lens out. heres what I've tried:
1. Switching the batteries, doesn't help but it may be because I have cheap batteries, I'll try with better ones if I have any.
2. Gently pushing the lens in while I was turning it on, it went in, and when I turned it on it went out, but when I turned it off it didn't go back in.
Extra info: Whenever I turn it on I get an image sometimes, but most of the time it turns right back off.

Hi Shawnn and welcome!

Sorry to hear about the problem with the lens. My guess is that you have a faulty camera, not necessarily caused by the drained batteries. Most new cameras automatically retract the lens after a minute or so if the camera is on and idle.

I wouldn't try to force the lens, even gently. If you do try using new batteries again, make sure they are fully charged!! If that doesn't work, call Kodak tech support. They can walk you through any known fixes or advise whether you need the camera replaced.
